2019 Kunze Award

The Kunze Award is an annual achievement award that recognizes a faculty or staff member of Texas A&M University that has made outstanding contributions to the success and prosperity of the welfare of a graduate student or group of graduate students. Awards will be announced and distributed at the 2019 Annual Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) Awards Banquet on [Date pending].

Dr. George W. Kunze was a former Dean of Graduate Studies.

The Narrative

In 500-600 words please explain why you are nominating the individual by explaining

(a) how has the nominee helped the growth of graduate students;

(b) how has the nominee advised on the well-being of graduates;

(c) how has the nominee shown care and dedication for graduate students, and

(d) what is the qualification of the nominee.

Providing clear examples to┬ástrengthen the claims you make and build your nominee’s credibility and competitiveness. There are no formatting requirements beyond the word limit.
