Day of Action – Wednesday December 6, 2017

The Graduate and Professional Student Council is planning a Day of Action regarding the Tax Cuts and Job Act Bill on  Wednesday December 6th, 2017.

We will be in various locations around campus (Evans Library, MSC, Medical Science Library) handing out flyers, answering questions about the bill and how it may impact graduate students as well as advocating for graduate education.

2017-2018 Aggies Commit Fellowship Applications due November 30th, 2017

The Aggies Commit to Graduate and Professional Student Educational Experiences Fellowship administered by the GPSC and OGAPS and sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President aims to support the high-impact learning experiences of graduate and professional students that go beyond required degree program actvities.

2017-2018 Graduate Student Travel Awards from OGAPS – Applications due Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2017-2018 Graduate Student Travel Awards supported by the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies, the Texas A&M Association of Former Students, and the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation. These awards are intended to help support graduate student domestic and international travel related to conferences, academic presentations, research projects, and internships.

For travel between December 1, 2017 and February 28, 2018: Applications are due by Wednesday, November 1, 2017!

Brewery Night at New Republic Brewing Co.

We welcome all Graduate and Professional Students for another Grad Student Brewery Night! Bring your wallets and purses so that you can purchase drinks at local brewery New Republic and snacks from a local food truck. Hope to see you there for this awesome grad student tradition.
